Since we’ve never been ones to keep interesting new books to ourselves, we’re kicking off a series of conversations with Book of the Month authors about God only knows what. Recorded at Book of the Month headquarters on W 27th st. in front of a live audience of raucous employees! Give us your ears and we’ll give you a look into the minds of writers we admire and a treasure trove of anecdotes, wisdom, and fun.
Meet our hosts
Brianna
Brianna Goodman is the Editorial Director at Book of the Month. Born and raised in Maryland, she has spent the last decade living in NYC, which is why she can no longer drive or exchange pleasantries with strangers. Brianna is thrilled to be co-hosting VBT, where she can talk about her favorite things (books) with her favorite people (writers). When not reading, you can find her rearranging bookshelves, falling asleep during movies, or overwatering her plants.
Jerrod
Jerrod MacFarlane is the Editorial Associate at Book of the Month. He can usually be found in a bean bag in his living room or backyard wrapped up in a good book, preferably with a nice glass of wine in tow. When not churning through the latest lit for BOTM, he loves to rock climb, host dinner parties, and do community organizing. He believes the secret to a great interview is always taking your guests seriously, if not literally, and to never break character.
